Product features

Good Water Solubility
The solubility of copper citrate at room temperature is about 8g/L. It can form a stable blue-green transparent solution within a few minutes after being put into water. It is not easy to precipitate and is suitable for making liquid copper preparations, such as spray liquid for agricultural foliar fertilizers, copper ion supplement liquid in electroplating processes, etc.

Good Chemical Stability
The copper ions in copper citrate are wrapped by citric acid to form a stable chelated structure. This structure can effectively isolate oxygen and moisture in the air and reduce the oxidation reaction of copper ions. Therefore, copper citrate is not easy to change color, degrade, and deteriorate during storage and circulation.

Low Toxicity And Environmental Protection
Copper citrate is formed by the chelation of natural citric acid and copper ions. It does not involve halogen raw materials such as chlorine and bromine, nor does it need to add additives containing highly toxic heavy metal components such as lead, mercury, and cadmium. It complies with international environmental protection requirements such as REACH and RoHS.

Product Applications

Agricultural Field
Copper citrate is used as a copper supplement in agricultural foliar fertilizers, which can effectively prevent and correct growth disorders caused by copper deficiency in crops.

Electroplating Industry
Copper citrate, as a copper source additive in the electroplating solution, can stably release copper ions and improve the brightness of the electroplating layer.

Chemical Manufacturing
Copper citrate is used to prepare a variety of copper-based catalysts and can be used in catalytic processes in organic synthesis reactions.

Pharmaceutical Industry
Copper citrate is often used in the preparation of copper supplements in the pharmaceutical field, and can be used to assist in regulating the activity of copper-related enzymes in the human body.

Environmental Treatment
Copper citrate can be used in some sewage treatment systems to assist sterilization or precipitation reactions by providing controlled release of copper ions.

FAQ

Q: What are the packaging specifications of copper citrate?

A: Copper citrate is packed in inner polyethylene bags and outer composite plastic woven bags, with a net weight of 25 kg per bag. Labels can also be customized or replaced with paper barrels and other packaging forms according to customer needs.

Q: Has copper citrate passed relevant quality certifications?

A: Copper citrate complies with ISO 9001 quality management system standards, and third-party test reports such as SGS and COA can be provided according to customer needs.

Q: What is the minimum order quantity of the product?

A: The minimum order quantity for conventional products is 100 kg; if customized purity or packaging is required, the minimum order quantity may be increased, which can be negotiated.

Q: What is the usual delivery cycle?

A: Conventional specifications are in sufficient stock and can be shipped within 35 working days; the delivery period for customized specifications is 7-15 working days, depending on the order quantity.

Q: Can samples be provided?

A: We can provide small samples of less than 50g for testing free of charge, and customers only need to bear the shipping cost; large-volume samples or special specifications can be negotiated.

Q: Is copper citrate easy to absorb moisture?

A: Copper citrate is slightly hygroscopic and is recommended to be stored in a sealed container.

Q: Is copper citrate sensitive to light?

A: Copper citrate is relatively stable to light, but it is recommended to store it away from light to extend the shelf life and maintain the appearance quality.

Q: How is the compatibility of copper citrate?

A: Copper citrate has good compatibility with most common formulation ingredients (such as water-soluble organic acids and surfactants). It is still recommended to conduct a small sample test before use.

Q: Is copper citrate suitable for high temperature environments?

A: Copper citrate is stable at normal use temperatures, but structural changes may occur above 120°C. It is not recommended to use it in high temperature reactions for a long time.

Q: What precautions should be taken when using copper citrate?

A: Avoid mixing with strong alkalis and strong oxidants during operation. Keep stirring evenly during dissolution and preparation to avoid precipitation caused by excessive local concentration.
